Have had a very low day. Fed up with side effects of Fostair. Cut dose so breathless again.

A bit of meditation on the sunset has helped. So love where I live. Happy evenings to you all

What side effects are you experiencing with fostair?

Irritability, insomnia, feeling anxious, just not right. I have reduced it which is better but just had to up it again as sob.

I know it’s not that bad but some days I’m just out of sorts. It has helped enormously too.

I have just been put on Fostair and I’m having the same problem, I’m feeling very tired and just not right! I left it off for a day and I felt great! But .. out of breath couldn’t even walk to the bathroom without being out of breath!!

Since being on Forstair I have never slept so much! Day and night!!!!!

Lovely picture and glad the view cheered you - but have you discussed medication with doctor? There are options. Do you have a COPD UNIT locally? They are often better able to advise than hard-pressed and generalist family doctors.

Yes. Discussed with consultant. It was the only one that helped my cough and breathlessness. They say I have asthma and not copd. It will probably go to copd. I’m lucky really compared to many on this site.

I hope today is going better Leesea . Thank you for posting such a beautiful view - it looks magical and I'm so glad you love where you live. It has lightened my mood too thanks to you :-).

It's really helpful to see posts about these side affects - the combination adding up to 'feeling of things not being quite right' seems really common. Some on here seem to have their meds monitored so well and the right balance is struck.

Thankyou. Glad to have lightened your day!

Sometimes it’s hard to just be in the moment and thankful.

Guess I just have to get used to feeling different!

I hope you don't mind me asking but what are the side effects? I have recently been prescribed Fostair but have not tried it yet. Love your photo of the sunset x

I don’t mind you asking at all. Firstly, it returned me to ‘normal’ in 2 days having had months of illness.

My asthma nurse stated the things I complain of are not normal.

Headache

Feeling anxious and jittery

Some weight gain

Husky voice( quite sexy really)

Generally feeling out of sorts.

It could just be me not tolerating or happy with taking steroids.

However, for my breathing it has been great.

Make sure to rinse your mouth after using though.

Jolly good luck.
