Yesterday the sun was shining and it was quite warm for the time of year. We decided to to to Batemans (National Trust, Sussex) which I usually find a bit difficult because of a long slope to get back to the car park. Anyway, we walked DOWN the slope to start with and started off in the tearoom where we had lunch, then walked to the mill past lots and lots of snowdrops. I walked better than I have for ages. Didn't have the breath to talk to my husband, but still kept up a reasonable pace, then walked back again through the wooded area and back UP the slope without having to stop for breath! I'm so chuffed. We sat at the top of the slope for a few minutes people watching before the final walk to the car. We didn't do the house with its stairs today, but I was thrilled to manage the slope - not so long ago I had to be picked up from the disabled exit at the bottom. There is always hope if you don't give up. xx Moy

Had a lovely day yesterday.
Wonderful, Moy, and so early in the year with Spring and Summer yet to come. 🙂 You're in for a good 2019 I can see. 💪😘
Thanks for your lovely reply, Don. I hope you are in for a good year too! xx Moy
At my age a bad year is better than no year. 🤣 (I've been watching too much Brexit)
No Brexit for me! I'm fed up with hearing about it - whatever I say or think won't make a bit of difference so I've given up listening (and feel a lot more cheerful for doing so!) Here's wishing you a sunny, Brexit free day! xx Moy
How lovely MoyB, it makes you feel good doesn’t it. Well done you. Keep going. Xxxx
That's wonderful news MoyB so pleased for you, it may not seem like a great achievement to some people but every boundary we push back is to us. Well done glad you had a lovely day. Take care and have a good night 😊 Bernadette xx
