Must be kidding when we come down to Devon.

A round of golf in the morning then a walk after dinner (there was a suggestion by their son that If I was up to it we could have a swim in the sea) I dont think so. Only problem we have now is getting back home tonight, as the M5 is stll closed

Oh Bideford. Nice I have been there as I am in South Devon. Not heard about an accident on the M5. Hope no one is seriously injured or anything.

Unfortunately it was a bad one and several people lost their lives.

Omg just looked and 4 people killed and several seriously injured. How dreadful. My thoughts are with them all.

Thank you for asking. Left our friends house about 8pm and just as we got to J18, they opened up the motorway so arrived home just before 12

Hope you enjoyed Devon you were lucky with the weather as its not been that brilliant of late.Did you manage a visit to Northam and Appledore both lovely and picturesque.

Devon is a stunning county as is Cornwall its just a shame neither do well on the weather front that could be why us Devon people have webbed feet because of all the rain!!!

Its still a lot warmer than Stoke, but I suppose if you want good weather, you have to move south east

Yea true we live in the English Riviera so the weather is slightly better then other parts of Devon but sometimes watching the national weather we do get abit jealous of other drier parts of Britain, but swings and roundabouts can,t have everything and we,re lucky to have the stunning Dartmoor on our doorstep all the best for future trips
