Hi all

I was diagnosed about 2 years ago with I.P.F. suffer nothing more than breathlessness when i climb 4 floors to my flat, but suffer more in cold weather get very breathless and pain, now i have developed pain in both my shoulders gets worse in bed is this a symptom of I.P.F.

I am not sure if it is a symptom or not William but I think you should definitely get it checked out with GP to be on the safe side. Having said that, anyone who can climb four stories regularly has my admiration.

Thank you i do my best to walk about 5 miles a day,and i go to Lanzarote for the winter as the cold weather is a pain and which can make me housebound, i was also diagnosed with bladder cancer 18 months ago and went through all my chemotherapy and radiotherapy wiith no problems and i seem to have defeated it, thank you MRSmummy.

yep is about all i can say i got a pain in my lungs at work cuz i worked in a fridge it come down to this you cant have that much inflammation and no pain some night i went to bed feeling quite sorry for myself but then my wife wld snap me out of it
