I just joined this site and really have learned a lot from reading everyone's posts. I had acute bronchitis last week, had a chest x-Ray and was told I have slight copd. I NEED to quit smoking...any tips?

Hi Ruth welcome to the forum. Think how much better you will feel giving up smoking, just keep thinking that and how much money you will save. Keep us up to date with your progress good luck Bernadette 😳 xxx

Don't smoke please wish I'd stopped years ago or better still never started. I went from Being on holiday in Lanzarote. Oct/Nov 2016!to being hospitalised spending Christmas Day in hospital and coming home on oxygen just like that So a Think positive Do like Annie said get a vape I have one or 2 wish I'd started them earlier and hopefully you can keep your prognosis of slight copD. No worse it's just not worth ruining your life for a cig. Like I did. It's not only your lungs that suffer it's your mental health to Don't think I'm getting at you I just want to help you see you have a chance of a Better life 😷
