Well posted the dreaded PIP forms today fairly certain it won't get me anywhere but it was worth a try , have no idea how long it takes for them to receive and read them so don't know how long I can expect to wait for some sort of reply but wait I will and will update when I know anything or if anyone else knows how long I can expect to wait to hear if it's been thrown out or be invited to a face to face I would be grateful for information

Cales, the system is perpetually changing,it took almost 6 months to get the full PIP for my dear Cecilia and she was a cut and tied case being paralised and without speech etc etc but that was over 3 years ago hopefully the new agency handling on behalf of the govt are a better deal?,,,,,,,good luck.....skis
ISA is ATOS sadly - in my experience its not a better system / deal. Although it may not be as long as 6 months, depends if you go to the appeal stage I guess then it would be 6 months or more.
Hi Cales it should say on the information the DWP sent you. But you can find the info from this link, look down the list on the left hand side:
Hi there, sorry i do not know the backdrop to your case but when it comes to PIP the one thing that helped me during a two year battle was a website called Benefits & Work. It costs £15 to join. It is the best £15 i have ever spent. I got their booklets( free once you are a member) re-did my paperwork, won my claim. I could not have done it without their advice, you have to understand what the pip people are looking for, once itbis explained, it all becomes clear.
Good luck, i hope it works out for you. I think it probably saved my life . I was so upset and distressed trying to make them understand, but i was not saying it the way they need to hear it.
