strange chest symptoms post nasal drip? has anyone had this

My nose seems to drip constantly. I thought it was just me xxx

It could possibly be reflux treacle7. Check with your doctor. Don't know what your diagnosis is but many with copd get this too.

Could be acid reflux, just to complicate diagnosis. Worth researching

My nose runs not dainty little drips. GP has given anti histamines but it still happens! No one seems to really know why but it has got worse as COPD has progressed (I have suspected inhalers but am told NO).

My nose used to run lie a tap all the time like a clear liquid that would actually stream from my nose especially when I was trying to move around ie. when exerting myself, anyway since I started on the Vicks First Defense nasal spray I get a little bit just after using it but other than that very little, and as I think I have said before I get far fewer infections - about one every four months - instead of every 3/4 weeks - just my experience. Hope it helps.

Hello treacle7 .

I had post nasal drip for a long time. Thing is my nose didn't drip. I just had unpleasant stuff running down the back of my throat constantly. It made me hoarse and caused me to cough uncontrollably at times. So I had surgery. I'm fine now but I remember it caused me so much anxiety as I had to teach in a classroom in front of dozens of teenagers and it could be quite awkward at the best of times. 😢
