Good morning Hacienda! Welcome to our club! I like you, was thrilled when I found this support forum. Everyone here is so supportive and caring. We all have experienced serious illnesses and still dealing with them. Our sharing with one another is very therapeutic. I believe you can learn more from patients sometimes than from a book. These people have walked down that road. So, you come along with us. We will all hold hands and help each other. We will be looking forward to hearing from you soon. You will just do like the rest of us....jump right in with both feet! Welcome Hacienda.
Welcome to the site hope you get sorted sooner alan
Hi hacienda and welcome. I hope your transplant comes soon for you, one of our most inspiring member's, Dall05 has been on the list for a good while and we're all rooting for him, as we will you. xx

Hi Bernadette, Yes, I have just read all the posts, very encouraging and helpful. I hope you get your News Soon, I go every 4 months to the transplant hospital to make sure I am still ok for transplant, so far I have been, but as time goes on you do get a bit "fed up" with waiting. But being positive it is only a fleeting thought. I'm off to my Exercise class shortly , I have to keep exercising to keep Mind & Body Fit for the Operation...Good Luck to you x

I have had bad week hope to get back up as we do xx look out for you thankyou Casper x best wishes keep well x Bernadette xx
I hope you feel better soon, I'm not having much trouble breathing yet, it's my other problems that are causing me problems. But, hey ho, it is what it is.
You'll like it on here, there's always someone around to help cheer you up or with good advice, jokes too, haha. It's brilliant. xx
Hi casper99, Thanks for kind reply. I have been reading your Blogs. What is FEV1? Sorry I must be stupid seeing that I'm more advanced than you at Transplant stage and Regularly go to Hospital for check ups, think I'm not asking them the right questions..xx
Hi, I'm not very knowledgeable on the in's and out's of our lung test results but, Fev1 is what they use to say what stage we're at.
We blow in the little machine at the yearly reviews.
How you feel on the day can give a low reading and it's also well known that two people, can have the same reading yet, one can be much fitter than the other, breathing wise.
Exercise seems to be the key to better breathing, not that I do very much exercising myself. Haha. xx
Ha Ha, They probably never told me as I was too far gone and couldn't raise a Puff...at that time. I'm Learning a lot on this Forum and coming across a lot of medical terms I'd not heard of. It all Helps, as I see my local Lung Consultant in September, I will write a long list for her to Explain....XX
