Hello. I'm sorry I don't know but I've found this and hope it will be of some use to you. Hope so anyway
I had the op on the 31st, and I can honestly say I have ever felt so ill. I came out on Sunday last in a lot of pain, weak, breathless. The op was keyhole, and I must say if I was offered the other lung, I would think twice. The good results are supposed to last two years, but the doctor told me it will be six to eight months before I'm back to normal. Not much of a bargain!
I had this operation done on the 28th February this year and it's been the best thing every I have a life back again am even looking to get back to where to again after not being able to work for the last 6 years once my symptoms return I will get the other lung done and I wouldn't think twice about it best thing ever hope this helps
Regards
I've been offered "valves" so I'll let you know when I find out. I was talking to a man who'd had LVRS and he's as happy as a pig in muck...
Thank you !
