I've been referred to whythenshawe hospital to the asthma centre and just wondering what to expect on my first appointment ?

Hi Pete have you ever been for an appointment if so what are the first appointments normally like I.r what do they do ?

Wheezy on your letter you will probably find the clinics telephone number,give them a call as i am sure they will be more than happy to explain their procedures,i have used them recently and found them most helpful..regards skis

What type of stuff did you have to do on our first appointment I think I have to go in as a Day Case ?

Please try ringing the clinic on monday,i can not tell you what tests they wan,t to do on you as i am not qualified to say so.Most probably some basic lung function tests also unless you are booked in for surgery just about everything else is day case,you could try calling the BLF helpdesk on monday if you can not speak to the clinic,try not to worry you are in good hands at Wythenshawe......x
