Are you sure it is Spirieva ? Which I take once a day. And have refills which last 60 days, or do you mean Ventolin the blue inhaler you can take when breathless to widen the airways.? If in doubt best to check with your doctor or practice nurse. You will come to terms with your diagnosis and you will be welcomed to join in here for advise from all of us living with lung problems. Spiriva you only take once a day as it's a bronchodilator..I use it plus ventolin when needed . If your having side effects from it you need to speak to your GP or practise nurse don't leave it too long as you need to be happy and comfortable with the medication you receive. Hope they get to the bottom of things for you xxx Angie 😁

Hi

If you don't feel comfortable with Spiriva, go back to your GP.

There is more than one kind of inhaler.

I would call your GP practise back and ask for the doc to ring on advice 're going back to another inhaler as your on other medication is important for you to take the docs advice not from here...try that and if reception staff fob you off tell them it's urgent... I also live in a rural area and never had a problem with them seeing me urgently or calling me back so don't let them fob you off sorry you are having problems but do phone them to get advice xxxx
