Very warm last night Angie but Pete and l are ok thanks. Glad you're feeling better. Xxx👍

Cracking picture. You've captured the Milky Way nicely along with the galaxy. Are you a chocolate lover? 😜 x

in reply to

Thanks hun ooooo salted caramel galaxy bar yes please lol to be fair I used to live on chocolate at least 4 bars a day my excuse for working long hours and never enough breaks...but no not so much just the odd salted caramel bar lol x are you feeling better today

in reply to

Can't beat a good bar of chocolate, not unless you melt it first 😜 I was a little better yesterday but am back to coughing and spluttering today. So frustrating as I have so much to do! How are you today? x

in reply to

Feeling a bit better than yesterday doxy has kicked in but having a new roof at the minute and they make a hell of a noise windows shut doors shut and it's dusty and hot .... Andy is just staying out the way bless him I think he's worse than me and I'm the one with copd lol you must be seriously packing now x

in reply to

Glad you're feeling a bit better. Is the whole roof bring replaced? That's a hell of a job so no wonder you are both feeling the pressure! Yep, it feels like a warehouse hear at the moment, boxes everywhere! We had to have a day off packing yesterday as our 11 year old had her 1st transition day at high school. This meant an hours drive, drop her off, an hour back, wait a few hours, an hours drive, pick her up, an hours drive back! I was exhausted by the time we got home! My energy levels are ridiculously low at the best of times, so it doesn't take much to exhaust me. You have to keep smiling and carry on the best you can though! x

in reply to

Yep the whole roof...glad my kids are up and gone lol you both must be exhausted from school drops and tantrums. Dosent sound great with energy levels so low bless you what stage are you at with the copd . Sound like you all need a holiday lol x

in reply to

I hope they finish it soon, must be a nightmare. I am remarried, so have three grown up kids from my first marriage and two girls aged 9 & 11 from this marriage. This is one of our main reasons for moving to a more rural area and aiming at a healthier lifestyle. I was stage 2 in December and feeling ok-ish. We decided to move North to our current home to be closer to family, and by the March I had gone right downhill to the point where further spirometry and tests showed I am now stage 3. The doctors said that they felt my sudden slide downhill was because of the stress of moving but more importantly the 'Industrial air' where we live (their words not mine) So now we are on the move again in an attempt to stabilise my health and perhaps improve my symptoms. x

in reply to

Maybe another week or so lol ..oh bless you I'm sure when you move and settle down things will settle down for you ..but moving is very stressful next to getting married apparently lol there the 2 most stressful things we can do in life . I'm stage 3 also 49 % fev on diagnosis in January this year. But giving up the cigs has been the best thing for me ...you take care and keep posting about the move xx

I'm having a dizzy day🙁, not happy. I should have gone to the gym this morning but I'm having to stay indoors instead. I only started at the gym last week, so I feel like a wimp missing my second session but I daren't risk it. Ah well...might get the ironing done I suppose.

in reply to Magpuss

Don't kick yourself for not going if your not feeling great .take today off ironing can wait feet up with rest and a cuppa tea xxxx

Magpuss in reply to Samjeff

Possibly, I'm not sure - in my case it could just be old age I suppose.

I'll settle for that! And....yes he is, at every opportunity. Last week he and a few HOG friends provided my grandson and his girlfriend with an escort to their prom. It was quite a spectacle I believe and went down very well with all the youngsters. Stretch limos are so pass'e apparently 😄😄

in reply to Magpuss

Totally agree with that one 🏍🏍🏍🏍 nothing better 😁

I was still doing "gentle walking" with an infection too. Once you get bitten by the exercise bug you miss going out and doing it. As long as you feel up to it, a gentle saunter can do no harm.

in reply to 2greys

I'm fine for a walk just not in this heat .we went to hatchet pond after midnight last night and had a walk about. Have you ever been to hatchet pond you would enjoy a wander around the pond itself is about 3kms xxx
