Finally the 6 min test

So we went off for our appointment

At a hospital quite near

A quick coffee in their cafe

My god they are so dear!

The test took only 4 mins,i couldn't do any more

I had a little sit down before i hit the floor

She looked at my oximeter dangling off my digit

My god its only 74% we need another widget

I'm putting you on Ambulatory at 3 lpm flow

And when you do your exercise i suggest you move quite slow

So finally after all this time they listened to what i said

And my little red blood cells will once again be fed

Scruffy passed her test ok the 6 min walk was fine

Just what you would expect from a well fed cat.A feline in her prime

So now i am the newest member of the Ambulatory o2 club

Maybe i,ll put on aqualung and mosey on down to the pub

Glad that things worked out as you'd hoped. Will they give you the equipment you need now or do you have to purchase it yourself ?Make sure to ask the supplier for some paediatric masks, in case Scruffy needs the occasional whiff too.

Billijean,i have asked for 3 cylinders for ambulatory.i don't think they would have given me that as they know i have purchased,at great expense,my own portable concentrator.But that way i keep them in the loop and they will have to deliver a more satisfactory management to my condition.Thank you for your concern.P.s Scruffy has her own blooming tank c/o cats with copd medical services,xxx

Oh I'm sure they will. I have 8 cylinders on prescription plus two concentrators. The oxygen suppliers are very efficient

I go , yet again for my 6 minute walk and he rest of the necessary Tests on Tuesday the 4th to see if I stay on the Transplant List. I will also be thinking of you on the 5th Carino.
