A little good news for a change

Hello there all, an update, firstly I would like to thank you all here on this amazing site for giving me support, information and perspective. I came here as I was being investigated for having COPD as I was told 7 years ago at 40 that I had emphysema in the top of my lungs and as I did not smoke at the time it was of no clinical concern and to go away and forget about it, till this year when my asthma (that I have had quite mildly all my life) became active and uncontrolled, my doctor and nurse both felt it appeared as though my new symptoms were being caused by possibly COPD and ordered a spirometry test, which I failed and had to do the repeat reversibility part and to my surprise came back normal, I have started inhaled steroids today as my lungs are hyperventilated and have remodeled and they want to stop this from continuing. Thank you again, I will remain here on this site for my asthma and because you are all so amazing thank you again. All the best.
