Hi everyone, wanted to share my good news with you, after feeling that I was quite ill after being diagnosed with COPD when I just thought it was asthma , and told I had a serious lung condition, was feeling quite depressed, despite my holiday to Cyprus, so I got very lazy ,turned into a couch potato ,went everywhere in the car with my partner, I thought, I"ve had enough of this!! feeling like an invalid, so i took myself off to a retreat in Devon (on my own) , learnt a lot about nutrition, did a 1 and 2 mile walk, circuit training ,boxercise, 2 hrs exercise each day ,either circuit training or aqua aerobics, in a group of twelve ,age range 23 to 74, and I did it all !! with some alternatives if it proved too difficult, came away 6lbs lighter , 13 ins overall body loss, so feeling so good about myself, since home eating healthily , joined a gym and walking each day,! basically I know its not so terrible having COPD and will continue to think this way until it worsens, do hope this is an inspiration to some of you, Big Hugs to everyone, xx

Well done you keep going stay happy and lucky xxx
That's the spirit, keep it up. The more you do, the more you CAN do. Use it or lose it.
That's fab! I've tried to go down the same route and found exercise and eating healthy is the key to feeling as well as possible! Also though try not to beat yourself up too much if there are days you can't manage as much 😊
Brilliant!

It's great encouragement to do more and get or keep fit. They say that regular exercise is good and you seem to be doing plenty of it, keep it up.
