Simply Go Mini
Samjeff,You need to discuss your requirements with Intermedical or another reputable supplier. Not knowing what you need your machine to do and your own medical condition would make it foolhardy for anyone to recommend a machine.Like Stone i have acquired an Inogen one g3 i have also purchased the extended life battery and a manufacturers backpack which makes it very comfortable to carry around.Warning ,settings and litres per min are not exact comparisons etc etc.Do talk to the people because even someone who has one may have different requirements and medical needs than you.good luck
Thankyou I have the inogen G3 (NHS) don't have the back pack to go with it only shoulder strap and find it heavy even with small battery, was thinking of buying one for holidays abroad--but--- I've had a flare up took a month to almost get over it, but am feeling more breathless at present so maybe EU holidays are not on. too with recent heatwave and pollen is not helping, in a low patch at present but thank you for your thoughts Sam
Just by the way I like the G3 it's easy to use and recharges quite quickly sam

Hi
The new Imogen G3 goes to 5lpm same as the Simple Go Mini.
The Imogen is slightly lighter. and cheaper.
The only way to decide is to try each one and see what suits you and your requirements.
I'am fortunate that i live close to a showroom.
The Simple Go Mini delivers a higher oxygen output than the Imogen
On 4lpm 44ml as opposed to 36ml.
But unlike the Imogen which delivers a pulse shot, the Go Mini delivers oxygen through the inhalation. Not sure which is better.
I have used both on my annual oxygen assessment with no issues or noticeable difference.
Thankyou yes that would be handy to see the Simply one without committing to anything just getting over a flare up so will wait awhile Sam
I have an Inogen G3 which I have had for a year so is due for a service. I rang Pure02 who I purchased it from to be told, after many promises of a ring back that it would cost me £150 and the loan of a machine while it was away would be extra. Things you aren't told when you purchase one. I use a local firm to repair and service my mobility scooter so I rang him and asked him if he could do it and the cost. He would order the parts , take the unit away for about 2hrs and it would cost £75. What a difference and worth exploring other options! Keep smiling
