just a bit about me . I am 65 yrs old female & have COPD/ Emphysema. At the moment i am recovering from an exacerbation , came home from hospital yesterday . So im not great just now but i know it will pass , it has before , i just have to rest .

Thanks , we have to stay positive even though its not always easy i know but the alternative is to give up & im not ready for that yet . Anyway i still have my kids inheritance to spend LOL

Thank you its good to get some input from those who know what its like . At the moment its the chest infection that is bothering me , without going into to much detail , i just wish the anti b's would take effect . Dr changed the one i had in hospital to Doxycyline so this is 3rd day on it & so far no change in sputum colour ...its disgusting sorry to much info lol
Welcome Petal! I'm sorry you are unwell at the moment. Hopefully the new antibiotic will kick into gear and kick that infection right out of you! You will find everyone on this forum very helpful and kind. They truly are a wonderful bunch of folks!
