I don't mind at all Fiona , I've got c.o.p.d had it for about 5 yrs but this last chest infection took the legs from me which is why I joined this site . I,ve read about loads of stuff I never heard of & am really annoyed with my doc ie action plan etc which I have never had & a few other things

Oh dear although it does seem like doctors are not always as helpful as they can be. I was only diagnosed three weeks ago so things are still very raw for me but because of this site I'm going to my next appointment fully prepared. I hope that you do too!

Hi Katie welcome to the site I am quite new myself you will find everyone is so lovely and find lots of helpful things. I am still trying to come to terms with my diagnosis as I have never smoked or worked with chemicals and struggle to know why I have COPD

Hi poppylachat, these days I think you don't you need to smoke etc to have c.o.p.d , there,s so much rubbish & fumes in the air I can well understand why people wear masks when they go out 😊
