Ecg monitor

on the 7th march I had 24hour ECG monitor fitted, I went to see my GP today expecting some news as I had a fast pulse rate, over 100 and she told me she still hasn't had the results, does this sound right. I suffer with breathlessness and copd I am on oxygen I,thought this would give me some answers

You could perhaps ask your GP to chase it up. I have known letters from the hospital go missing before reaching the GP.

thank you for your reply, She did say she would chase it up ,Not sure how long to wait before I phone doctors and see if they have the results,I have had other tests as well she sent me for an Echocardiogram ,that was on the 6th april they said at the hospital that they would be sending it out to my doctor that afternoon, leaves me wondering what to do,

Call the consultants secretary at the hospital and enquire .

They are normally pretty good at chasing up as they write up and send the letters from the docs dictaphone
