As the title above I've been having a few concerns regarding my heart rate so bought a finger oxymonitor. This only works one in ten times! Doing a rehab course at the moment and their monitor is the same (struggling to read my stats). So thinking its me I bought a monitor with a chest strap (lidl so not expecting much) again only works now and again.
Don't really want a fitbit as it does too many things.I now have 2 finger monitors,1 cheap wrist tracker and a chest strap one and none seem to do what they are meant to.
Sorry for this dragging on but my question is,is it me? can anyone on here recommend a heart monitor, regards Alan

My gp gave me my 1st oxometer which to my suprise was very expensive and very precise ... then I got a cheap 1 which was under a tenner but they both measured my sats exactly the same so my advice is pls don't obsess taking your oxygen levels and heartrate as it will send you crazy ...I was constantly checking mine but now i just use it if I'm feeling a bit blurred vision and light headed which is a sure sign I'm either low on oxygen or having too much ...take care will say the cheaper of the 2 I ordered on line for about a tenner and my heart is usual to be 130 at rest at times and it has been spot on every time comparing it to my expensive 1 my gp gave me plus my PR team all give the same readings ...I need to check oxygen and heart you see x
I was concerned about what my heart rate might be indicating on my pulse oximeter and talked to my GP about it. She said they are notoriously bad at reading heart rates. She gave me a 24 hour heart monitor and the results were normal, despite jumping all over the place on both the PR and my own oximeter. So maybe a chat with your doctor would reassure you.
