I have had a few of them Juneyu and have never experienced anything like that. I hope you are now recovered.

Were you given a contrast medium?

"The most common adverse reactions are minimal: headache, nausea (feeling slightly sick) and dizziness for a brief time after the injection. A few patients will have a feeling of coldness at the injection site."

Hi Had one of those last year, have to say no ill effects unlike yourself. Could it have been nerves? they can work in mysterious ways. Hope you are over it now.

Hi,

Yes, I also had a reaction. So much so that I declined the contrast dye as I was on the verge of vomiting and knew that any more, or much longer, and I wouldn't be able to stop myself from being physically sick. (Which of course wouldn't have helped the "keep still" need). Even though I didn't end up vomiting, I had to sit in the nearby coffee shop for a couple of hours until I felt well enough to drive myself home. I wasn't 100% that day and I find that when I don't 100% feel well, I more easily get motion sickness and easily wear out. The constant vibrations were just too much for me that day.

Hi Tugun, Thank you for your reply sorry to hear that you also had an unpleasant reaction to MRI. I have since found out that it can sometimes affect the fluid balance in the inner ear, hence the nausea and vomiting. Kind regards

Thanks for the info Juneyu. Hope we both won't need one in the near future or that next time round we'll be fine.
