If income based ESA then you get free prescriptions but if contribution based ESA you may qualify so would need to look into that.

Hope that helps Angie. Xxxx

my husband was contribution esa he had to pay for perscriptions and dental until he retired x

Like sissy said but if you get esa contribution then you can get a form which you send off and they will send you a papper say you will not have to pay for glasses dentis ect ect you can get it from job center dentist and i think options

This would be on the grounds of low income and she may not qualify or not get a full rebate.

As you have been working the past 2/3 tax years you would automatically get contribution based benefit. This is not income based and is decided purely on your contributions. When this runs out it would revert to income based ESA which would take into account any other income coming into the household or savings etc.

On income based benefit you would get free prescriptions, free dental treatment and free eye test and glasses.

You can be both income and contribution based ESA at the same time. It depends on a number of factors. Ring the DWP who will be able to tell you.

Thanks all bit more clearer now that the mud that was in my head yesterday lol xxx
