No sorry. COPD iteslf doesn't quality you for free prescriptions unless you are 60 or you have another qualifying illness such as needing meds for thyroid etc. whereupon all your prescriptions are free. I think diabetes is another one but am not sure.

If you need a lot of meds it would be worth your while buying a 3 month (?), or 6 month or yearly prescription card. I think the yearly one is around £100 but you will need to check this. x

Diabetes definitely entitles you to free prescriptions. So do thyroid problems.

Yeah a friend has thyroid problems which is how I know about that one. x

I fortunately don't pay for any prescriptions. The reason... I live in Scotland where all prescriptions are free regardless of age or illness

It's £120 for year one of you need more than 12 medicines in 4 months
