The Wheelie Bin.

Time to drag the wheelie bin

Out into the street.

The darn thing gets so heavy,

That's something of a feat.

It has to face the right way round

And the lid must be able to close.

If you don't conform to that,

They come round and punch your nose.

It must not be too heavy,

Though the men are big and strong,

If a 5 year kid can pull it out

You still can get that bit wrong.

And after it's bin emptied

Just to make your day,

They leave it the middle of the drive,

Right in your flipping way!

My local council offer a service to all disabled people who need it, the offer to collect one's bins from the side or rear of the property and empty them. All that is required is a phone call or email asking and stating why the service is requested.

They also supply smaller, lighter wheelie-bins if requested.

That would leave me nothing to grumble about! It's only grumbling that keeps me going. :-o
