Feels like an elastic band on my chest ..

Hi folks, does anyone knows what causes the chest to feel tight on occasions, ? - someone did think it might be an infection or inflammation of the lungs, and that Antibiotics might cure it - any thoughts folks ? - wearing a seat belt when the chest is like this is a bit of a bother ...and makes breathing even worse with that " Elastic band " across my chest ! ...tar muchly ! ...

Hi Vittorio, I have a feeling a bit like this, all the time despite not being breathless except with exertion. I posted about it a while back and got lots of interesting replies. Quite a lot about air trapping which can sometimes alter the shape of the chest. Here's the link:
