Hello

Currently waiting for a bronchial challenge test on Tuesday:( But am also having a 'flareup' requiring antibiotics and steroids. The course finishes on Sunday. Will it be ok to attend the bronchial challenge test. Ive waited a few months and don't want to cancel. Thanks

Morning. If it's a spirometry test that you're having, then no. It has to be 6 weeks after you've finished your antibiotics. 😊

I would ring the hospital, the infection could adversely affect your results.I would take advice.

Errrr....? Bronchial Challenge Test? What is that? Is it like the Mannitol Challenge? That's when they provoke an asthma attack and then give you masses of Ventoiln to alleviate it.

Hi Mardi, I'm sorry to hear that. I am hoping that they will let me take the test as I feel like I need some answers now. Have you got a diagnosis? I am hoping they will tell me what it is soon so I can learn to manage it better. 😊Hope you feel better soon x
