Good morning all. Hope you are all feeling fine today. I have a quick question if anyone could help I would be thankfully.

I've heard of tight feeling in chest. Now I think I have had this a few times but I'm unsure so I will describe what the feeling is.

I get a feeling across my breast area like a sharp pain that catches my breath for like a min then it eases away to nothing. This has happened two or three times now . It is painfull for the most part I rub at the area until it goes . Is this what you all get when tightness comes on. Thanks for any input x

Good morning. Any sharp pain in that area that is short-lived, I usually put down to indigestion. Sorry that I can't be more helpful. 😊

Hi cough cough.....Please ask your GP about the pain, it could be caused by many things. He / she will investigate the reason.

Take care

"Most lung cancers do not cause any symptoms until they have spread" Seems clear enough to me Poppy so don't you be thinking negatively for pity's sake - worst thing any of us can do!

Def get checked by GP but if your chest is a bit tight that can sometimes give these type of pains in the muscles x

Suggest if possible before going to gp run a diary. Log when it happens and what you were doing at the time and previously. Eg been watching TV for an hour or digging allotment all morning. Also log meals and drinks. GP would probably ask about that sort of thing and it helps to know the answers rather than trying to remember from several days prev. I thought I was having a heart attack but a drink of water and a huge belch cleared it. Hope yours is no worse.
