I can't imagine that replacement drinks are very healthy. I live largely on fresh fruit and vaeg and have the opposite problem, I could do with putting weight on. There was a girl at work who wanted to lose weight to qualify for ivf. She used one of the delivered low calorie schemes, can't remember which one. She lost something like 8st with no problem and they were proper meals. I only saw her every few weeks and it was clear there was less Holly than there had been ivf worked first time too!

am doing the meal replacement drinks cause that's what a cardio doctor suggested i do to try & drop some weight but i have noticed that every time i get sick & get put on antibotic's i seem to gain more weight cause you have to eat just wished i would stop getting colds/flu's so often so i can try harder to drop weight

I would eat some regular food. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, yakult, drink chicken broth home made. If the ABs interfere with the bowel badly you may just want to restrict diet to, plain white rice, mashed potato, yoghurt, banana, stewed apple and blueberries, bone broth, clear savoury or fruit teas, peppermint tea also good, to settle the bowel quickly you may want to consider pro biotics.

Imodium is not good to take when on ABs as it can interfere with the way AB meds are intended to work.

Dry crackers are another good option if needing something on the stomach before taking medicines and then drink a glass of water.

Wishing you a good recovery.
