Excessive dynamic airways collapse scobbie. Someone else on HU has that so may see your post. I would speak to your respiratory doctor again if you can. Xxxx
What is it don't know what EDAC stand for
Hi I too have been diagnosed with this 'rare' disease. The only treatment my respiratory consultant has offered is a trial of CPAP. The consultant says that this is not a recognised treatment within the NHS but he has seen positive results in his patients
Thank you for your reply sued1958
My consultant has prescribed spiriva, a pari o-pep device, and breathing exercises from physio and I go back to sea him in three months do you know much about this disease as all I know is on breathing out my tubes claps he said there is nothing they can do but keep an eye on me ( so reassuring )
I was diagnosed with Edac in January,I too have breathing exercises I'm still trying to get "right".
I've also been told to get a cpap machine which seems to help at night but not really during the day.
I've been told losing weight will help as I'm overweight.
My closures is 80 percent
I have just started the test. They also recommend CPAP but said to use it during the day when watching the television or quiet times. Edited by moderator.
