Smoothies
Never had one of these so sorry am unable to help. Never had a banana, but I have made my own peanut butter and it is too moreish so I don't make it any more! heh heh
Maybe that's what I need some of your peanut butter to put meat back on lol xx
heh heh....all you need is a food processor and a bag of peanuts - switch it on and in no time you will have delicious peanut butter. I don't need to put any more meat on but I am sure it will help anyone who does need it
I tried it with dry roasted and with plain....I had to add a tiny salt spoon of rapeseed oil to the dry roasted, but not with the plain. Have I got you salivating yet????
xx
Just need some crumpets him indoors says and jobs a good un xx
Never had a banana? What - never? My daughter doesn't like bananas but she has tried them, are you sure you mean never?
Magpuss - never ever. My brother and I were accosted in a park when we were small by a man waving his "banana". My brother shouted to me to run home and don't tell Mum or she won't let us come again.....he shouted at the man and threw gravel at him......some time after this happened Mum was happy that she was able to get some bananas at the Greengrocers and offered them to us and I couldn't take my eyes off them...I felt sick just looking at them. The others ate theirs.
Sorry Jennifer didn't mean to tick like I apologise if I caused offence
Nay nay...it doesn't have to mean that. It can mean that you have read something and understand or empathise.
No worries at all T2d
xx
Thank you xx
Traumatic!
Cocoa, honey and banana with milk and powered milk, if you want to put a bit of weight on. If I'm bothered by too much mucus I use either hazelnut milk or almond milk instead of dairy - they both make very nice smoothies.
Thank you Magnus nice to have a few different recipes sounds nice wonder if I could use drinking chocolate
Sorry meant Magpuss I pad predicated text
Make up some complan - think 8 scoops makes up equivalent of one light meal, add cocoa and honey or other natural sweetener like Stevia or Agave, tastes just like a chocolate milk-shake x
Thanks for that will add it to list x
This is my smoothie recipe and you can make it your own, I use frozen fresh fruit easy to do just slice whatever fruit you like on a tray and put in freezer, then bag it.
1-2 frozen bananas, 1/2 an avocado not frozen, yogurt your own flavor and amount up to you, I use frozen pineapple, mandarin oranges, cantaloupe or melon of your choice, flax seed I use a tsp you can use as much as you want its very healthy, spinach- 2 handfuls, your choice of liquid, juice is what I like and I vary it from pineapple, orange, mixed fruit. (be careful with flax seed too much will give you the trots)
I drink these through the day, make as much or as little as you want varying the quantity you use. It is so good for you, use a straw so you don't get brain freeze lol
I like my smoothies cold and thick that is why I use frozen fruit, if you like it more runny use unfrozen fruit. This is so yummy and very healthy no sugar added or needed but if you like it really sweet add some honey or simple syrup.
simple syrup is simply boiled down sugar in water, boil til thickened then refrigerate, use as you want, since it's mixed with water it isn't too sweet.
Dump it all in your blender and enjoy the best smoothie
Time_2_drink. The thing about smoothies is you can add whatever you like. Every other day i juice 2 x carrots, a small beetroot, kale and celery plus 2 oranges. This is the base for my smoothie. I throw in frozen pineapple, berries, mango, banana and papaya. I use coconut water for the base when i don't juice.
Once the juice is ready i add flax, pumpkin and chia seeds. 2 or 3 times a week i will also add wheatgrass. I have been drinking smoothies for 7 years and in all of that time no cold or flu.
Also first thing in the morning i take lemon juice and ginger in warm water.
