Sore neck muscles?
Good morning Tinkz and for me, I get aching neck, shoulder and back because my posture is generally quite bad. Also being tense and anxious all adds to the problem.
Not saying anything other than ,that's for me. I've got COPD and you'd think I'd remember to sit with better posture to aid my breathing, really.
You could always try some relaxation techniques on UTube.
I hope you manage to sort your sore neck muscles.
Thanks for your response squirrels, I know I have put it down to posture and tense muscles (have both) but when I take my bronculators the soreness in my neck eases (for an hour or so) before I take them My neck hurts and top shoulder area and collar bone area and I feel fatigued and feel like I have difficulty talking (lose voice and difficult to get sentences out) feels like it's almost issues with my throat but Surely inhalers wouldn't relax the throat? Sorry this sounds stranged. I'm still undiagnosed and having further investigations done.
Hi Tinkz, I suffer the same thing, I believe it's because we start using muscles in our necks to try to help our breathing. Try to use your diaphram when you breathe, this will take the oxygen/air down to the lower parts of your lungs which may be less damaged and also removes the stale air. Stop and relax if you can when you feel your neck becoming tense and maybe use your ventolin/rescue inhaler earlier. When you breathe your stomach area should expand not your upper chest area. Hope this helps, good luck, Jo
