Prescription Leaflets (Another very silly poem)

β€’21 Replies

Read this leaflet carefully

Before you take the pill.

This is most important

If yourself you're not to kill.

A course at Oxford Uni

Might help you in this task.

Perhaps in advanced Latin

Why so?.....Don't even ask.

How to take your medicine

And most important where

Most will go into your mouth

But others shoved elsewhere.

As you read on further

Terror starts to strike.

Good gracious all those side effects

This surely can't be right.

Don't panic though, the company

Protects itself from woe.

If you start to grow another head

They can say "I told you so".

(I'll go and get my coat now.)

Dementia it takes on many forms,

And mine I must declare

Those leaflets are a bit scary. One told me not to take if already taking one of my regular tablets. Told doctor, he laughed and said take no notice of that!

I like that - I have a collection of info. leaflets. I loved the one where it says that Death is a side effect!!

I had that one too! And the inhaler that warns of upper respiratory tract infections and pneumonia as side effects. ;)

That, Don, is called a C.T.A

So should it come to pass

Their product makes you cough your clogs

They've covered well their arse!!
