Oh ive not been on for a while but for the last few weeks I've been finding it difficult to get my breath im using my inhalers but finding im out of breath just sat down and not doing anything dont know what to think just worried that its just going to get worse is this normal i have got c.o.p.d

You have my sympathies, valerie. It would be good you asked to see your respiratory at your surgery, or your GP. It maybe necessary to review your inhalers and any other tests. x

Thankyou i have been given different inhaler and are back to the c.o.p.d clinic next month

Hi,

It may be worth your while to try and get an earlier appointment, possibly with your GP rather than struggle on as the 8th Feb is quite a while off.

When I have had symptoms such as the ones you describe it has been a non infection related 'flare up' of my COPD. Of course this may not be the case with you, and it may be your inhalers need altering as Pergola said.

Thankyou copd 16 i will try get appointment but its like trying to get to other end of a rainbow at our doc's

When you 'phone tell the receptionist that you have COPD, that you are struggling to breath even at rest and that your inhalers are not helping. This should make you a priority for an appointment.

You may have an infection and not know which sounds crazy but its happened to me loads of times

I would if i were you ,, the 8th is a very long way off if you do have an infection
