Hi everyone....I was prescribed a Eklira Genuair 322 inhaler when I visited my GP on Monday.....to be used morning and evening.....only problem being...it gives me terrible indigestion and mild chest pains...

Should I stop taking it .? And talk to my GP....

Hi

Unless you have a alternative, keep taking and contact your GP by phone for advice and alternative inhaler, there are many to choose from.

Some side effects are reduced by continuing the medication.

Sounds like acid reflux to me i had it on symbicort so had to go back to seratide. Try gaviscon after taking it or maybe the doc with provide a prescribed antacid medication if needed. Most types of inhalers can relax the upper spincter to the stomach and give you indegestion or reflux. Hope it clears up take care.
