Can't really comment, but spirometry can pick up other conditions. Presumably your consultation will be followed by a letter back to your GP? This should show all the spirometry results, any other results, e.g. Six Minute Walk, or incremental shuttle walk, ECG, and will contain any diagnoses that s/he is making on your condition. The consultants I see always copy me in to their correspondence. Ask your GP's secretary if that letter has been received and ask for a copy and an appointment to see your GP to discuss it. And, maybe, contact your consultant's secretary and ask to be copied in in future.
Good luck
All the best

Hi I think you should ask for a CT scan as this should pick up anything else that could be wrong. Have you been offered one? x
