New it

Oh dear Nanny. I got the inevitable cold etc. very early this winter and ended up on ab's and steroids as it turned to a chest infection. The only problem with being one of the first is that I run the risk of another at the tail end. Hope you are feeling better very soon chuck. x

Thanks coughalot ,sent a sample in yesterday as I think it is a chest infection ,so started antibiotics this morning hoping to kill it before it gets a strong hold ,take care ,
You have been doing so well recently. Let's hope all the hard work you put in to your body will now help to clear this nasty germy thing up as soon as possible.
xx

Always rely on you Jennifer for encouraging words, let's hope your right ,breathing test is December 22nd ,bbbrrrr, its 2 below here in Staffordshire,so I bet it's bitter in Blackpool wrap up warm ,xx
Hello Georgina,
Fingers crossed that you are well and truly healed by then
It's not too bad here at the moment, 36F with a negligible 7 mph north westerly.
Hi Nanny1086 You sound like me motorbike. A new spark plug and a kick up the exhaust and a prod on the kickstart should do the trick. If it works, let me know and I'll try it on the motorbike.😳😂😂😂
Seriously though, this is the time of year we all need to be extra vigilant and take precautions if we are to remain well. Too many people aren't bothered if they pass things on to others so I tend to only go supermarket shopping at the quieter times. Wrapping up well is a must when going out in the cold but it is just as important to make sure you are warm enough at home as well.
Hopefully you are not coming down with anything much and you are soon better.
Take care.
John
