No more banged or rockets please, they have all had enough.
They have had enough.: No more banged... - Lung Conditions C...
They have had enough.
I agree. I made sure my cat was in by 5 tonight. He has been terrified by all the loud noises. Thank goodness it is a lot quieter now. Still it's only once a year I guess. x
Still in full swing here! Dogs okay, cats are not impressed. XXX
The problem I have is the length of time they go on for till the end of January the stress its cause's cats and dogs I don't know how people afford the amount of fire works 😞
It usually goes on until after midnight here, although my two are very underwhelmed! The cats are not too keen though. 🐶🐶🐱🐱
There have been firework displays out the back for two nights running. George barked at them. Last night he may have been worried as he spent a lot of time on my lap.
If I had my way, sale of fireworks to the public would be banned. It is crazy such potentially dangerous things can be bought over the counter.
Babysat grandson this evening and Sybil the cat was not happy at all. Some fireworks are far too loud. Xxxx
So scary for so many pets and other animals out in the fields. Were yours all distressed ? Some can handle it. Merlin could not care less about noise but my last Lab would have climbed through the wall to get away from it - she was terrified. Not heard any bangs this time before last night. Hopefully they will shortly have priced themselves out of the market. If that makes me a killjoy, so be it. Animals first.
I am very anti fireworks unless at a display, did u read about the Collie that was frightened by a firework ran off and ended up drowned in the sea,so so sad, there is a petition going round I have signed it. It is an outdated thoughtless event, time we had some thought for nervous people and frightend animals.
I too have signed the petition because Alfie, our dog, is petrified of fireworks. If they only happened on or around bonfire night at organised events, I could accept that, but they are let off around here both before and after bonfire night and on many other occasions throughout the year. We have decided to go away in our caravan at new year to somewhere as rural as we can manage. We'll be taking our dog, Alfie, with us, but leaving Martha the cat at home (looked after by our daughter) because fireworks dont phase her at all.
We caravaned for 25 yrs and always went to a lovely 15 van site near Waddington Lincs,we went their every bonfire night and most New yrs,it is a rural site no fireworks around,👍
I just wish we could get a ruling passed, but no one seems to care, even schools have jumped on the bandwagon, its all about MONEY.
Bonfire night is stressful for both human and pests,,,,fireworks should be stopped from being sold in shops,,,,ttfn from Karen.
