I was diagnosed with COPD, emphezyma, bullous , as well as bladder cancer 3 years ago, , the cancer was taken away but returned 6 months later but I'm glad to say I have been clear for nearly 18 months now, I find things getting harder to do because of the COPD, I have been receiving ESA coming up to 3 years now, I have only just found out that I may be eligable for PIP, I would be grateful for any information in regards to any entitlements I may have to claiming PIP...thanks

Help..
Hello and welcome,
I can't help - too old for PIP! - but I'm sure someone who can will be along soon. Or you could phone the BLF helpline who can advise you.
Good luck, Sue x
Hi Britton, we have a benefits advisor here on the BLF helpline so please give us a ring on 03000 030 555 (9am - 5pm, Mon-Fri) and we can arrange for you to speak to her. She'll be happy to discuss possible benefits with you.
Best wishes,
Ben
Thank you very much for your help Ben..👍
Hi nice to meet you. Also have a look at the benefits site - if you google Govt. UK it will all be there. x
Thank you kindly coughalot..👍
Hi Britton, I am sorry to hear about the return of the cancer, but maybe I could help with your copd. I thought I had copd and went to a respitory specialist . After tests and a sleep study I was diagnosed as having sleep apnea . I now am regulating my sleep with a res med machine and it has helped. I don't cough as much even without medication. I rinse my nose with saline solution every day and that has helped also. I am a Newby to this site so have not been following this site long. Nahja, in the states.
Hi Britton, I wish I could help but I'm from the across the pond and am not failure with your medical support places. I sure hope things go well with you,and truly sorry that I can't be of help. Nahja
