Book in the offing
Good morning Bulpit,
At the top of the home page, click where your name is - on the drop down list click on messages- this takes you to private message page. Type in vashti and a blue box appears from lower down with her name so click on that to be sure (I'm never sure if I don't click on that will the message go) Then write your post and click on send.
Hi Hidden you forgot to say - press the green 'Compose' button when you reach the private message page. You can then type the username you want to send a message to.
Oops!
John
I had to keep going back as I was writing to work it out. Thankyou for the correction John. Bulpit, I hope that I have not caused you any more problems. I do rather have the knack of putting my foot in it.
Hi Jennifer, you're not putting your foot in it. You are always very helpful to everyone.
John
Thanks again Jennifer-S, so good of you take the trouble, very best wishes Bulpit
Thank you so much Jennifer-S, I will attempt to send a contribution to Vashti's Book. Regards Bulpit
Alternatively, you could type it into Word or Microsoft Works.
Then copy (ctrl A) Then paste (ctrl V) into the private messages.
Another way to do it is to find one of vashti's posts or replies and just click on her user name. x
Thanks so much coughalot2, so easy once you know how. Very best wishes, Bulpit
coughalot2...why didn't I know that! I like simple. Thankyou so much.

Ha ha you are welcome both of you. It's only because I have been here a while that I know them. I still learn new things on here trust me x
Manchester United Supporters know most things. Trust me - I have always been one since the 1950's
Ah you are a women after my own heart Jennifer! I started going to Old Trafford at 14 back in '68. It cost 30p for the stands and 12 bob for the seats....., and I loved George Best x
It was Busby Babes for me - they were in lodgings in the house at the back of us had to walk past our kitchen to get on to the front of Warwick Road, and were very generous at giving us their autographs for our school pals. They all trooped into our cellar one day and put a fire out. I was deeply in love from afar with Duncan Edwards and broken hearted on the day of 6th February 1958. I used to go to all the home matches, always stood at the Stretford End, whether first or second teams were playing.
Do you remember George Best's boutique opening in Sale?
It was mobbed every day.
Think you are a bit older than me Jennifer! I was upset when I learned of that awful accident and the youngsters who died, especially Duncan Edwards, who would have been one of the world greats. He was only 17.
Did Bestie have a shop in Sale too? I was there at the opening of the one in Manchester, but never got in ha ha. He used to get his hair done a few doors away and I remember standing there gazing at him. I got his autograph numberous times including once when he signed the back of my hand.... lovely. x
You must have been in heaven! Yes I am a little older than you. was born in 1939 so could be your great granny
Hardly great granny Jennifer. How about mother if you were a gymslip bride? x
No, not a gymslip bride- heh heh.... I don't mind being your HU mum, so just behave yourself.
Yes mum! x
Hidden in a Gymslip!!! That calls for a Guinness or 3.😳😬😂😂😂
Oy you leave my HU mum alone PastMeBest or you will be WellPastMeBest when I set Roary onto you.. x
Thankyou child
You are welcome mum. xx
Oy - you look as if you have already had one over the eight!
Moi? Shock horror x
No of course not you - how do these stupid messages ever make sense if you can't send your reply to the person to whom they are intended. My answer dear child of mine was directed at pmb, so why is it where it is?.................sigh....
Your 'dear child of mine' probably was drunk...mum ha ha.
I am a very wayward daughter. xx
...but you will be sober later
xx
Hopefully not I am a good girl really mum and eat my greens and do my homework x
rofl...........................
Please don't roll on the floor mum, you will only aggravate your arthritis...and who will end up taking you to the doctors? Ha ha. xx
It's alright child of mine - Merlin brought me a stick. How thoughtful of you.
xx
Ha ha what you don't know is I trained Merlin to save me having to keep coming round x
A cunning plan put into operation then - it works
