Carol, sorry for giggling when I read the title of your post. For Niagra, I read Viagra and was really curious. Would love to hear more about this, never even heard of it.
Sorry I thought you said Viagra Vibration Blanket!! That would be something... Don't know this product but do hope you get help soon... 😊
Hi carolg1...I had a look on YouTube...niagara make ( medical ) vibrating devices....they claim help with lots of things.....i couldn't find the blanket you mentioned though.
What is it that's getting you down..?
Andy.

I am just getting to the end of a chest infection Andy and I am finding I have lots of stubborn plugs in my lower lungs which are a bit painful and hard to move, ive tried accapella and steam but its getting harder to move. Thanks Carol
Thanks for that it made me chuckle I think this would terrify my grandchildren haha they are only young and they dont like me when I have oxygen on !! thanks for the message really appreciate it and the chuckle xx
This sounds very interesting. Let us know how you get on.
Have heard of this when I was on holiday in Spain apparently it works similar to the massage beds but is obviously much cheaper and can be used on any bed as I understood. But the make was not Niagra. It is another British company who make it and distribute it from Spain. Sorry can't recall the name, but they make lots of medical help gadgets.
I have not heard of a vibration blanket. I produce phlegm in my lungs every day and need to cough it up morning and evening. I do Active Cycle of Breathing Technique (ACBT), also known as huffing, which works well. There are videos on You Tube or you could look at this page or others: papworthhospital.nhs.uk/doc... . I was taught ACBT by a physiotherapist who said it can be done in bed lying on each side, but it also works sitting up. I also have a nebuliser into which I put 7% isotonic salt solution (from capsules) which is prescribed by my doctor. This produces a sort of steam which loosens the phlegm. I use the nebuliser before I do the ACBT. You will need a small receptacle for the coughed-up stuff. I hope this helps as it is awful when phlegm gets stuck.
Hi sarcoidosis yes I do the huffing etc and I too have a nebuliser but I'm just getting over a chest infection and there is that much of the stuff it gets stuck almost in the same place I think where my lungs end n my diaphragm starts sort of the bottom of my main airway it's so scary I feel actually as if I need to be sick and I can barely breath it's drastic at the moment thanks for replying xx carol
