Idiomatic pulmonary fibrosis

I would like donations at my husbands funeral to go to research into finding a cure/easing the problems of IPF. Can anyone tell me what to do.

Hi Jay-Dee so sorry to hear of your sad loss.

It's a lovely thought that you are thinking of others even though you have problems of your own.

I don't know it there are any dedicated charities that research Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis but a call to BLF may point you in the right direction.

British Lung Foundation (has a Donate button on their website):

blf.org.uk/idiopathic-pulmo...

Just had a look on the Internet and found the website below.

Action Pulmonary Fibrosis (has a Donate button on their website):

actionpulmonaryfibrosis.org

I hope I have been of some help.

Regards. John

Thank you so much for your help. The funeral isn't until 8Th August so I can't do it yet.

IPFIs a horrible thing and there was nothing they could do for Charles so he would love to think he could help towards finding something that would give hope to others.

I have followed this site for some time but never posted anything till now. I am impressed by how supportive you all are. Keep up the good work.

Hi Jay-Dee you are so right, IPF is a horrible illness and not only for the sufferer but for their loved ones as well.

I am so sorry that nothing could be done to help your husband Charles but I'm sure if he knew you were doing something to help other IPF sufferers on his behalf he would be proud of you.

I am sure I speak for all our members when I say "Thank You" for the kind comments about our forum. We have a great group of people who because of their own personal experiences are able to offer advice and support to others needing it.

Regards. John

Deepest sympathies to you Jay-Dee and it is wonderful to raise money for those with IPF. I agree with PastMeBest, and BLF should be able to help xxx
