since hospital discharge I've got to wait 2 months for a chest clinic appointment.

after 3 weeks i'm still awaiting an appointment with cardiology/.

Hi soyabean

You could contact cardiology and ask what the position is i.e. when is your appointment gooing to be.

If you are struggling to the point you feel your consultant's input re your pulmonary fibrosis then it might be an idea to telephone his/her secretary.

I have just had to do this myself for advice. Sometimes you know what you should do but it helps to chat with folks who 'get it' to confirm you are dong the right thing.

I think we all seem to have to wait a long time. I had CT scan and lung tests in August. Still waiting to see consultant. Kaye

Unfortunately it seems to be a long wait for most things soyabean. Just keep pushing and remind them you are still waiting. good luck to you. xxxx

Ring them up. Tell them you will take a cancellation at short notice, telling them the time it will take you to get to the hospital. First check that they have actually received your referral letter though as quite often it can take a week or two for things to get through the system.
