idiopathic Pulmonary fibrosis

Hi all don't know if I'm on the right site but am trying to go on a clinical trial abroad and having trouble getting travel insurance as soon as you mention infection /cough and terminally ill oops all done no chance anyone had luck when being truthful ??

Hi anode11 welcome to our friendly and informative community.

You are on the right site if you have Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. As for travel insurance you will find lots of useful information under Pinned Posts - Travel Insurance on the right of your screen. If you can't find what you are looking for there, ask away and someone can usually give you an answer.

Same as any questions about Lung problems. We are a mixed and knowledgable group and do our best to help.

Do not say IPF is terminal,terminal usually means less than 6 months,it is life limiting.i use oxygen and I got worldwide travel insurance with a company called Worldwideinsure.com.Sooki

We have a wonderful face book page,Pulmonary Fibrosis UK,all on there suffer from PF or IPF,best support group for our illness.Sooki.

I only use facebook for the pulmonary Fibrosis group,it is a closed group,and only other members ever see what's on there,.Sooki.
