Feeling good this morning so I am going for a walk of posso 6klm. tis a while since I have tried as my lungs function at 20%. I think somedays it is more. I park the car in a valley so the start of the walk is uphill, this is done slowly with a few stops, appreciating the scenery really, then 4klm slightly undulating with the last 1 klm downhill. Seems to work well, the scenery does help a lot though. Also I am going to try the apple cider with honey. I will let you know how it goes. Tis the 1st time I am going to try a home remedy. It does not work, I will lose nothing. 42d today, nice breeze though.
Take care.. Ciao.

I'm lucky that I live a short distance to a long beach wwhich I delight in walking regularly. The constantly changing scenery, the fresh breeze sometimes gale makes me forget for a while that I'm ill.I read posts on here and I wish you all could enjoy the exilaration of taking a fairly deep breathe without coughing and spluttering all over the place.Don't know why I'm posting this but I am anyway😀😁.Hoping everyone has a great day.
I used to walk the beach a lot until I moved 15 klm inland. Nothing quite like the beach for a walk especially in the winter when you have it all to yourself. I like happy posts so keep writing..
Good afternoon Ciao,
I hope you manage it. I don't know where you live but the mountain scenery sounds wonderful, so even if you don't complete the walk - the thought of cider and honey at the end of it sounds good enough reward. That is about 107 fahrenheit....... a bit hot !!!!!
42 degrees ? Where are you ? You know what they say about mad dogs and English men ? 6kms in that heat sounds a bit over-ambitious to me but you know your own body and your limits. Do take care and don't get heat stroke.
Most of the walk, only 4klm in the end, too warm, is along the ridge of some hills so there is a nice breeze from the sea and beautiful views either side. The beer certainly went down well later. Start the Apple cider tomorrow.
Oh wow ! No wonder you enjoy the scenery. Have you written a best-selling travel book yet ? Be Cental Italy's Peter Mayle. The fact that you moved there for health reasons could be your 'angle'. Coping with COPD in sunny It-a-lee. A best seller for sure
