Hi
Your oxygen provider can supply a portable oxygen concentrator,Inogen one G2 goes to 6lpm pulse dose. Fairly heavy at 10lbs comes with trolley.
For self purchase I prefer the inogen one G3 goes to 5lpm pulse dose only.
Lightweight at 2.2kg single battery well balanced easy to carry. More choses at healthoxygen.com or intermedicaldirect.co.uk/ho...
Speak to your respitory nurse for suitability, alternatively liquid oxygen is available lightest flask 2.2kg.
Hi , first time on this forum ,I have a liquid oxygen but find that set on 4 ltr per h after about 1h empty looking for pump that will give 4 ltr continuous that is light enough to carry and top up charge from car do you know such a pump is available
Hi
The highest available on continuous only goes to 3lpm, is healthoxygen.com/sequal-ecl...
Rather bulky unit.
Can you not use pulse dose delivery system? It doubles the time.
I will have ask as I am finding it a struggle to do much on continues thank for advice please keep in touch
Hi
You should be getting 2hrs 45min upto 4hrs 15min depending on which flask.
Hi - I use liquid oxygen between 4 and 6LPM depending on terrain and I don't think there is anything better - however I do have two flasks which is great for when I want to stay out longer. I did have a talk with my oxygen nurse re one flask not being enough and she got on to the suppliers for me and they delivered it to me within a couple of days. My only regret was that I didn't ask about it sooner as I spent 3 years trying to manage with one.
i used a pulse dose con and liquid oxygen together pulse 2ltr a min and 4 ltr on liq gave me a good day out need a few flasks thou
My wife age 71, atrial fib, recently dx IPF after a brief pneumonia. O2sat into 80s and even high 70s. Using home concentrator at 2liters, OxyGo (medicare paid) portable, InoGen G4 (we paid $$$ out of pocket) which is very light and very small. All work well, but G4 battery is not as long lasting. Portables are limited in flow rate. She always leaves home with home InoGen and OxyGo with all 4 batteries charged, and plugs into car as much as possible. She upped her NAC to 1200mg and just started serrapeptase which theoretically could eat the fibrosis. I have seen serrapeptase definitely work - slowly - on my scars.
What is Serrapeptase??
portable oxygen concentrator, I just Purchased inogen one G5 with big Battery on 6 liter battery doesn’t last very long 1 1/2 hours but you can plug into cigarette lighter in car, makes it better on the go 🤠
