David I don't think any of this will do you any good if you think of depression and it's treatment like this. These terms (and their associations) went out with the ark.

David, I'm so sorry you feel like this. It's as much part of the illness as breathlessness is. Some people find it harder to cope with than others but it benefits from proper treatment as much as any of your other symptoms.

You sound as though you think you're some sort of a freak. You're not. You're one of the unfortunate many. We all know something of how you feel. And there are still good things even when we're not so well.

Be kind to yourself. Tell us how it goes, and don't, when you get there, call whoever you see a nut doctor!! Love, Sue x

I was put on antidepressants at the pain clinic I said I needed pain killers not happy pills. The antidepressants I'm on are not licenced for nerve pain but they do help the Doctor has never forgotten and always asks am I still on the happy pills lol
