Kerem1 sorry I don't know your symptoms but I'm sure someone else will be kind enough to reply who knows about them best wishes x
Morning Kerem
Have you been told you have mild small airways obstructive disease after a Spirometry test? Who told you that? Was it a consultant? If so then you need more clarification about it. Do you have asthma, COPD, and do you smoke? All those affect further understanding about small airways disease. If none of those apply then it is even more important that you see a doctor to discuss what is going on. Also it would help if you could give us an idea of your symptoms, and when they started, what other tests you have had, and if you have any other conditions, (relevant or not!)
Sorry about the interrogation but what you have written is a bit vague.
All the best

P.S. I do have small airways disease, and I must stress that it is NOT a "small" disease, just that it is in the small airways, ie the bronchioles. I upset someone by saying that BOOP was a small airways disease (it is!) but I think she thought I was making light of her condition. Some of them are very serious which is why I think you need more info.

ı had a xray 3 years ego And Dr said that ı have chronic bronsith since that time ı have litle breathless And mukus.that my symtom .ı went for check-up' last week And had a chest x-ray so Dr said you need do sipo ı did And also ı am Smokin been 22 years my sipo shows that ı have mild smal airways obsturıktıve i made appt with chest Dr to what it means ı am so scare
Thanks for the further info. If it is mild and you are a smoker it sounds as if it is Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) which is affecting the small airways.
If you have now stopped smoking and you are still young (well, you are by my standards!) then I think you have good chance of stabilising or slowing down the progress of the disease.
Good luck
All the best

If you stop smoking - get flu Jabs every year - get Pneumonia Jabs you will die of old age - By the way my wife told me then Inoculations advanced so much that my next Pneumonia Jab will last for the rest of my life.
