Ointment.

Just a quickie, I have read on here about an ointment suitable for oxygen users, think it is something like, KJ or KY ointment. I've Googled it but no joy. They stress that Vaseline etc. should NOT be used owing to the petroleum content and I see that E45 and Germalene have liquid paraffin in them. Sure I will get a reply within minutes. Hi

KY Gel is a lubricant, can be used to ease irritation from oxygen equipment such as nasal cannula.

If you require a ointment for specific ailment, sore or rash then speak to your pharmacy for any water based products.

As you have already worked out many are petroleum or paraffin based which can not be used with oxygen equipment.

You can also try health stores for natural products.

Thanks for that soulsaver, I have now edited it. Looks like another case of the brain ahead of the body, typing. I always read them through but we do jump words when we know what it should say. Must double read next time.
