A Form of COPD
Interested to know what the form of copd you have ?
Does your rare from of COPD have a name? Can you give us some more details? I am very curious as my PFT and Spirometry results come up with an obstructive disease but it is not COPD or asthma.
All the best

COPD is an umbrella covering various lung diseases....that's what I have been told and my consultant won't even use the word COPD!! - he will discuss only the actual disease/problem. Welcome to the group
Hi Louisiana. In the UK, I think the term COPD now only covers chronic bronchitis & emphysema patient.info/health/chronic... Some older doctors still use it for other lung conditions too. My GP keeps talking about COPD, which annoys me as I have bronchiectasis+asthma. He's lovely otherwise so I let him off
By the way, hello strawberry!
What is a 'rare' form of COPD. COPD covers Emphysema, Chronic Bronchitis and Bronchiectasis, that's it. There's nothing rare about any of those lung issues. COPD is in fact a very common illness.
