In addition to bronchiectasis I have CLL ( a type of leukaemia ). When meeting my consultant recently I stated my mucus was rarely coloured and nearly always clear or opaque. I believe he replied that this was because of the CLL which masked the condition. Does this make sense to any one ?

Being managed
My Son Has AML and on Chemo and he can only gauge he is ill by his temperature. It appears that the cells that would normally fight the problem/infection do not or cannot so the body would normally let you know with a cough or pain. This has in affect been turned off.
Normal rules apply with dark gunk needs looking at.
